I’m a documentary filmmaker and communication producer working with social and development organisations.
I help organisations design and produce films and visual narratives that are not just outputs, but part of their larger communication and impact strategy. My work focuses on translating complex, on-ground programmes into clear, ethical, and effective stories that are meant for public engagement, advocacy, fundraising, and institutional communication.
Over the years, I’ve worked with grassroots collectives, NGOs, funders, and institutions across India and Southeast Asia. I’ve led projects end to end: from research and concept development to field production and final delivery, often working closely with program teams and communities.
My experience spans themes such as gender, education, youth leadership, public health, labour, and rights-based movements. I work primarily in documentary and short-format films, and I’m especially interested in long-term documentation and communication processes rather than one-off storytelling.
At the core of my practice is a simple approach: clarity over spectacle, collaboration over extraction, and communication that strengthens the work it represents.
